The roos and friends
Okay!
I realised I only took pictures at the wildpark cause it was raining like mad after that and my camera is not waterproof. So…..here are the roos and friends.
Oh. Heres a video showing how windy it was.

So the uni’s international office organised a one-day tour for us. We had to assemble at 8am and leave at 8.30. I think I fell aslep at about 5 something in the morning. When my alarm rang at 7am, I battled against my will to stay in my warm, cosy bed. After 3-4 snoozes, I finally got up, brushed up, grab whatever I laid eyes on, slip on my flip flops, and left.
It started to drizzle while I was on my way to the uni and I didnt have an umbrella with me. =\ Luckily I was wearing the hoodie Wendy bought for me. So I walked to the uni with my half my head covered my the attached hat(if I had a basketball, I would have looked like Lucas from OTH).
What a lousy day. First I did not have enough sleep and then it had to drizzle. But the rain stopped when I reached uni and at 8.10am, I was one of the earliest. I thought after I left Malaysia I did not have to take in the famous “malaysia timing” into account.
It was frigging windy too and I was wearing my flip flops! Was freezing my ass off waiting for the students and the stupid bus to arrive. Stood in the wind for a good half an hr. Stupid one. Then the weather decided to change and popped the sun out after we got into the bus.
We went to a wildlife park, a chocolate factory, the nougat(supposed to be pronounced as “nuga”, not “nugget”), a winery(I did not go down…napped in the bus instead) and a harbour which I cannot recall the name.
The next stupid thing which happened was it started to pour when we were half way touring the wildlife park. I was drenched while looking for a shelter. *sigh* It just wasnt my day. I was then stranded in a hut with some pythons and lizards for about 10 mins before the rain stopped(crazy one right) and the sun popped out again. But then it started to rain again for the rest of the day soon after.
Luckily I brought along with me a another piece of clothing(wont call it jacket cause it did not keep me warm at all) to change into. okay. Let me tell you what I was initially wearing. I was wearing a spaghetti-straps(wore this only because it was damn hot the previous days and the internet was down in the morning to couldnt check weather) underneath the hoodie and a pair of woolen pants with my flip flops.
Hrm… looks like a lot of words in this entry. SOrry arh. Its 4am. Brain refuses to shorten sentences with alternative words.
Anyway, the chocolate factory was cool although it was really small and simple compare to Willy Wonka’s. No oompa loompas too. Then it was the nougat factory. We got a sample each. It was really small too. Nothing much. I stayed in the bus and napped for half an hour while the rest toured and wine-tasted at the winery since I dont drink, at all. Some came back to the bus half drunk lol.
Finally, it was the harbour. IT WAS FREAKING WINDY I TELL YOU but it wasnt raining lah. I even took a video of the trees swaying. But I like the harbour. There was a mall there which we all grabbed a quick bite. Saw lots of gulls there. You know, the ones that go “mine, mine, mine, mine, mine” in Finding Nemo. Took a group picture, then went off. It was damn cold the whole day. More so to me cause I wore too little and also the flip flops.
Thats all! Pictures of myself below. Pictures of other things tomorrow.
At the choc factory with one handful of free sample
At choc factory with their ice cream(not free). I know its cold but but… have to try mah…
At nougat factory chewing my on sample. It was so packed
At the harbour inside the mall
If my baby was there, he would have taken a lot of pictures for me :(((((((
Btw, I am currently listening to John Mayer’s Slow dancing in a burning room. Damn nice song. It doesnt have a decent mtv, so :
Email me if you want a copy. The proper one is much nicer

Yesterday was our “last” date before I fly off. He told me that we were going to somewhere but he was not going to tell me. It turned out to be Bukit tinggi. It was day. Sunny but windy. It was a nice place too. I especially like the Japanese garden. Very relaxing. We proceeded to take pictures while “paktok-ing”. Then we got home, each showered, and fell asleep while snuggling. It was a wonderful day. Pictures will be at the end of this entry.
Today was a happy day too. The Guy and I and Carol went off for lunch, a rather luxurious one, and we all had a good time. Walked around the mall for a bit before we went home and fell asleep while snuggling again. Mum’s called woke us up and we went off to Mid Valley after freshen up. While waited for mum and bro to reach, we did something mischievous but that might be another entry. Then we all went to have another luxurious meal. Went back to The Guy’s place and continued snuggling until he fell asleep then I went to watch tv. Here I am not, at home, typing away.
Tomorrow will be a sad day. I have been dreading this day for so long. It has eventually arrived. All I hope now is to not cry at the airport. I really wont want to cry there. And also hope that they wont charge me for the 5kgs excessed luggage weight.
*sigh*
I still dont want to go.
Anyways. Here are the pictures :
Hello from Kuching.
Dial up is getting really slow its annoying. Thats why I havent been online these few days. However, I successfully stole someone’s wireless. Haehaehaehae.
Been feeling so lazy. I brought my camera back and I havent taken any nice pictures yet -_- Well, maybe I’ll go down and take some landscapes later. We shall see!
The purpose of this trip back home is to pack my winter clothes and I havent started also. So lazy. I am beginning worry that I might have to pay for some overweight luggages. The winter clothes I have here weighs about 13kg already. What about those I have in KL and my summer clothes and my shoes and my gadgets and wires and my skin care and my cosmetics and my accessories?!?!? *sigh* Its really troublesome being a girl. So many things to bring =\
I think I will have to forgo a lot of things and keep them in the new house in KL.
YES!
I am moving again(I think I have moved 5 times in the passed 4 years)! This time, to our own home. No more renting. But I wont be here to do all the hard work. Hehe.
Applied for my own saving account in HSBC today. Its “the world’s local bank” so I can withdraw money straight when I am in Aussie. No need to TT here and TT there. Too inconvenient for my mum. I really enjoy being a premier in HSBC and that will be another entry, probably tomorrow.
I still dont want to leave M’sia. Its such a lovely country, you know(despite dangerous)
Okay lah. Too much crapin this entry. Will blog about something more meaningful soon!
Ta!
p.s : going back to KL tomorrow!
The Guy drove us to Melaka today. It was a one day trip and it was my first time there! It was a really pleasant trip. Not like Melaka was a blast, it was the company. =) Oh, we stopped at Port Dickson on the way back for sunset.
Will post some pictures up soon. I am too sleepy to wait for blogger to load.
But heres a teaser.
Yup, its blur but I really like it. Taken in Port Dickson at
some resort’s beach area.
Ta!
So I boarded the plane without sleeping. I did not sleep in the plane neither. I did not sleep after we checked into the hotel. I did not sleep after we visit Standard Chatered(our sole purpose of visiting s’pore). I did not sleep until 11pm. Heh. Sometimes I surprise myself even.
Anyway, it was a fun trip nonetheless! Shopped like mad. Ate like mad. I first eaten at Sakae sushi(they now have a branch at The Curve) close to a decade ago and my mum and I fell in love with it. Its the best! The last year(I think it was last year) I spotted a branch at The Curve and I was so excited about it!
So I happily when to have dinner there and it disappointed me. It disappointed me so greatly that I vowed to never go there anymore(and I didnt!). So my dear friends, dont go there. Really. Save some money and go to the one in S’pore! The one I normally go is located on the first floor of Wheelock place which is at the intersection of Orchard road and Scotts road. I miss it already
The only disappointment was MNG ran out of stock of a white tote bag I wanted badly. The last piece wasnt white anymore! So, no. I couldnt accept it. I am going to run to the nearest MNG here tomorrow to hunt for that bag. Lets hope they have it here in M’sia.
I am going to rest now.
Ta.
Btw, first anniversary this Saturday! *mwahs my baby*
Okay. I am back in KL.
Did I mention that I shifted, again? Yea. I shifted. For the 5th time in 4 yrs. So tiring. I just got my internet minutes ago. Was so bored can die.
Anyway, I am going to blog about the those I bought from Taiwan.
Rm40 boots. Too cheap to not buy.
Pwetty pwetty pink and brown colour
I am a Puma fan. I have 5 pairs of Pumas, not including one pair of their Limited edition(cant remember the name of the shoes) one with its very own ID number. Not a huge number but to a slipper-person that I am, I think its pretty sufficient already. Not to mention my Nikes and Rockports
I wanted to take pictures of all member of my little Puma family but two pairs of them are in Kuching. Maybe next time >.<
I just cant resist pretty lil shoes.
Ta.
Changes of my hair style. Starts from 2003 to 2007. Gonna leave for airport now. Do give comments. Bye!
I have seen many places selling Taiwan beef noodles in Malaysia. I have tried several of them when I crave for it and not being able to come straight to Taiwan and have them. They all dissapointed me.
The soup is not supposed to taste anything near soy sauce. The beef is not supposed to feel like beef jerky. The noodles is not supposed to be the yellow rounded kind. Some even had bean sprouts in them. What a disgrace!!
Here is how the real Taiwan beef noodles should look like. The soup is not so see through and its dark brown in colour, not soy-sauced black.

Traditional Taiwan Beef Noodles

Taiwan Beef Noodles is not complete without this. Sour Vege. No idea what its called in English
I wish I could pack some of this back for my friend.s Too bad I cant!
