Val
Hi y’all.
I always find it difficult to introduce or talk about myself when asked to. I just dont know where to start. There are so many things about me that I could tell and I dont know which should come first. In this case, I think telling my name first would be most appropriate.
My name is Valentina. It was given to me when I was born, by one of my aunts and no, I was not born on Valentine’s Day. I was born in the humble town, now a city, called Miri. When I was 12, my family moved to Kuching and there, I went to SMK Green Road for 5 years and we moved again to KL when I chose to go to Taylor’s College. Now, I am in Australia completing my degree.

Since secondary school, many people have mistaken me as a mix. Chindian, Eurasian, Malaysia Native, Japanese, you name it. I am a pure Malaysian Chinese. My mum being a Taiwanese does not make me a mix.
Unlike most girls, I do not play piano nor can I dance ballet. I cannot draw and I am not exactly good at home-making. I enjoy reading and playing sudoku to kill time. Despite being really lazy, I love to play sports too. I especially like beach volley ball although I am no expert at it. I love cooking given a clean and organized kitchen of a relatively big size.

Other than that, I am online pretty often, watching programs off youtube and crunchyroll, blogging, blog hopping and of course doing research assignments. I like photography as well and often make myself the subject to be photographed. I am a tv addict as well. I love CSI, One Tree Hill and ANTM.

I am no philosopher but I often come up with some lame lines to comfort my friends and family and myself when needed. I used to write some poems but I seem to have lost the ability to write already. I just cannot put words together to express the feelings I want to anymore. What a pity. But I am still striving to write.
I love my friends. My friends from secondary school, my friends from tuition class, my friends from Taylor’s, my blogger friends and the friends I made in Australia. I am truly blessed to have them throughout different phases of my life because without them, I might not turn out to be whom I am today. I learned that there are so many more things in life that I could do other than being sad and grasping on the past. They also taught me to worry less and be a person with a broader mind. For all these, I would like to express my heartiest gratitude.
Then there is The Guy, who has been bringing the best out of me. There is just too much that he has done to be put into words. The best things should be kept in our hearts
My blog might portray me leading a rather comfortable and a more on the luxurious side of life but being the black sheep of the family have not being easy for me. But I am grateful for everything I have and all the love I get. I am very appreciative of what my mum has given me and is still giving to me. She might not be the most understanding mum, but she definitely is the best one out there!
I get disgruntled when I am not properly fed. Yes, food is indeed a very important part of my life. Being so self conscious and yet I am still not willing to eat less to shed some weight could reflect to you how much I love food already. My other love would be fashion. From cosmetic to clothings and shoes and bags. Attempted to have my very own beauty blog but I was to lazy to maintain it. But I will try to revive it. I promise.

Last but not least, I am happily attached to The Guy and and currently leading a peaceful and happy life!
