Maroon5

I was at Maroon5 concert with Bhavna last Friday and I wanted so much to cry because…..

we didnt bring out cameras.

I WANTED TO KILL THOSE PEOPLE WHO PRINTED “NO CAMERAS” ALLOWED AT THE BACK OF THE TICKETS AND I WANT TO KILL MYSELF EVEN MORE FOR READING IT. NO. ACTUALLY KY MADE ME READ IT. I WILL GO BACK AND TORTURE HIM. :(

And everyone else had their camera(okay, not eveyone but a lot ofthem did) :(

My camera would have taken such nice pictures and videos! zomg I still feel like crying.

Other than that, the concert was awesome. AWESOME. Brandi Carlile opened the show. Shes an amazing, amazing singer but we couldnt wait for her to get off the stage because One Republic was next, then Maroon5. One republic was great and I fell in love with their new song, Stop and Stare. When they play “apologise”, the crowd shouted and started to sing along, including myself. Ryan Tedder, their lead singer, was so damn cute lo! He was very nice as well.

Then Maroon5 came. Their energy filled the stage and Adam Levine is a very good live singer. Not one note/pitch out of place. I almost died when he sang “wont go home without you” right after a really slow and soft song. They just lifted the mood of the whole crowd! He then ended the show with “this love”. He also dedicated the song “she will be loved” to all women in the world. I almost melted. Hehehe.

Of course, theres encore. People were shouting and audiences from the elevated seats(where we were) started to stomp their feet on the board that formed the seats. I was stomping with them at first but then the fear of the whole thing collapsing filled my mind and I decided to stop and nudged Bhav to stop as well :P Our seats were really good as our side was the only elevated one and its facing the stage so we didnt have to stand up at all. I swear they performers were within a good 200 meters of our touch. Really. I could see them jumping/bouncing around on the stage so clearly I was close to tears. Seriously. No free standing, free sitting shits. Everyone was seated but you have to choice of running to the fence separating the crowd and the stars themselves to ogle.

The lighting, although was of nothing fancy, lifted the atmosphere tremendously. Not to mention the loud, blasting but good sound sytem. I loved every bit of the concert. *swoons*

In short, I had an amazing, amazing time that night despite leaving my camera behind. I will definitely go to their next concert!

Some pictures taken with my crap phone.
