Lame football joke

Long time ago(during previous world cup, I think) I heard the lamest football joke ever. Its a question actually. Then you will have to spend sometime to think of the answer and eventually get it wrong and anticipate for the right answer.

Heres the question.

Okay.

Answer : Each football team has 11 players. Each player carries 2 balls. Sum up to 22 balls a team which makes 44 balls for both teams. Plus the football, there are 45 balls playing on the field. Hence 45 mins.
