NO. Not Zouk. Now, say after me. Z-U-U-P. Good. Now we can start.

Went to Zuup a few days ago for dinner. Its located in 1Utama shopping centre. Lowerground floor, somwhere near The Pet’s Wonderland. I think I’ll just let the pictures do the talking along with some captions!

By the way, I suggest you to come back later with a full stomach if you are feeling hungry now. Serious.

My teriyaki chicken!

The chicken was great. Texture was good, with the teriyaki sauce dwelling in you mouth. Not to mention the cottage fries! It was damn good too. Like the best cottage fries ever(just like how mc d serves the best french fries!).

Ze close up

This fried rice is kinda special. Something I have never tried before; and it was good too. We ended up packing two of these home!

Whats that cream?

Thats mayonnaise wasabi! Thats what made the fried rice special. For people who cant take wasabi, like me(or minimal wasabi), you can ask the staff to separate them with the rice.

Spaghetti beef bolognese

For non beef-takers, you can opt for chicken bolognese. I must say that the pasta was delicious. With the aroma of herbs and olive oil tingling in your mouth while your burying your teeth into the bolognese. Imagine that people.

Some ice cream…

Then we had some ice creams…

and some cakes.

Dont believe that the food was good?

What about that? Heh. Wish that it was you whom had that dinner? I know you do. Envy me!

Yup!

This is going to be the first time I am displaying my photoshopped picture. I just started to learn how to use it and its so fun(yes….noobish. I know)!

Image hosting by Photobucket

I just added diffuse glow to it, removed some hair on my face and removed the stupid mole on my nose. Original picture can be found here. Loving it! :D

I can cook, too.

MANY people thought that I cannot cook. They look at me and think that I like to eat out and stuffs. But no! I can cook okay! Not maggie, not sunny side up eggs, not boiling water, but proper chinese food(limited western food)!

My best dish is Prawns Baked with Cheese. Although the oven does the cooking, the process of preparing it is crucial too! Heh.

I always use tiger prawns for this dish.

and some random dishes….

Tasty :D

There is room for improvement for this dish :P

3 dishes and 1 soup. No problemo!

My dear ol’ aunt (part ii)

Yup. Its about driving incident with my aunt, again.

My aunt is a really timid driver. she drives very slowly and 60kmph is considered fast for her.

One fine day, my aunt was driving my mum and I from I-forgot-where, home. Mum was sitting at the front passenger seat and me at the back seat.

My mum and my aunt were chatting away and I was busy listening to what they were gossiping about.

*THUD*

Wth was that sound? My mum then recovered from her shock and ask my aunt :

mum : SIL(sis in law), didnt you see that lady in the bright red shirt?!
aunt : Har? What lady?
mum : That lady walking by the side of the road! You just knocked her arm with ur side mirror.
aunt : Har? What? I didnt see the lady!
mum : Didnt you her that thud?
aunt : No. I didnt. (she then continued talking to my mum like nth had happened)

Oh. My aunt hit someone. I quickly turned around and look at that lady. She was fine, still walking but was cursing. I couldnt hear but I could read her body laguage. Heh.

After we reached home, my mum then told me that she saw the lady from far and thought that my aunt saw her too. The funny part was my aunt actually increased her speed right before she hit that lady. It was like she did it on purpose(but she did not lah).

Yes. I know my aunt is cool.

Next up : My aunt knocked me, twice.

My dear ol’ aunt (part i)

I was reading some entries from my xanga blog and something funny came to my mind.

My dad’s bro’s wife(my aunt) used to drive is 20 year-old car around. One day, she had to fetch me home from high school. In the car were my cousin bro, whom was sitting at the front passenger seat, my late granma, whom was sitting at the back left passenger seat, my aunt driving and me whom was sitting beside my granma.

The car was really old and worn out. REALLY OLD okay.

On the way home, my granma took her water bottle out and started to drink from it(with her tilted slight upward). At the same time, my aunt made a sharp right turn. All of a sudden, it got really airy. So I turned to me left(where my granma was sitting) and I saw the funniest and scariest scene in my whole life.

THE DOOR ON MY GRANMA’S SIDE FLUNG OPEN. So the car was turning 90 degrees to the right with an opened left back door. I didnt know what to do. I was stunned and my jaw was on the floor. The scary part was the fear of my granma might fall out of the car and the funny part was my granma did not aware of what happened and continued drinking with her head slightly tilted upward. It was my cousin bro whom shut the door from the front window in the end.

Use your imagination, people. I need to go laugh, rolling on the floor.

Owh, by the way. That aunt of mine got her license after the 9th driving test she sat for.

Cheers.

Nine Months Later

Got this from a forwarded email. Thought that its quite funny.

Here goes :

Jack decided to go skiing with his buddy, Bob. They loaded up Jack’s mini van and headed north.

After driving for a few hours, they got caught in a terrible blizzard.
They pulled into a nearby farm and asked the attractive lady who answered the door if they could spend the night.

“I realize it’s terrible weather out there and I have this huge house all to myself, but I’m recently widowed,”she explained. “I’m afraid the neighbors will talk if I let you stay in my house.”

“Don’t worry,” Jack said. “We’ll be happy to sleep in the barn. And if the weather breaks, we’ll be gone at first light.”

The lady agreed, and the two men found their way to the barn and settled in for the night.

Come morning, the weather had cleared, and they got on their way. They enjoyed a great weekend of skiing.

About nine months later, Jack got an unexpected letter from an attorney.

It took him a few minutes to figure it out, but he finally determined that it was from the attorney of that attractive widow he had met on the ski weekend.

He dropped in on his friend Bob and asked, “Bob, do you remember that good-looking widow from the farm we stayed at on our ski holiday up North?”

“Yes, I do.”

“Did you happen to get up in the middle of the night, go up to the house and pay her a visit, did something which is really…… well you know…. ”

“Yes,” Bob said, a little embarrassed about being found out. “I have to admit that I did and I swear I did used condom.”

“And did you happen to use my name instead of telling her your name?”

Bob’s face turned red and he said, “Yeah, sorry, buddy. I’m afraid I did. well I’m married and you are not. “Why do you ask?”

“She just died and left me everything.”

Moral of story : Do not betray your friend. =)

Marche

I went to Marche for the second time a few days ago. Marche, means ‘market’ in French, is restaurant renovated and decorated similarly to a market. The market feeling is there but not quite there(wth am I talking?). Excuse my lack of vocabulary. It serves a variety of food. From laksa to pizza, from chinese food to western food. Many options on beverages too. Not to forget the desert! But I was too ful to have any. Buhz.

They give you a card upon entering. They call it a Marche passport. Heh. Its for you to give to whichever stall you would like to get your food from and get a stamp on it. Then you pay before you leave, presenting the card.

I had young coconut, baked potato and chicken snitzel with black pepper sauce.

The ‘passport’

Young coconut

Its not bad. But the flesh(?) was too hard.

Baked potato

I love potatos! Baked, cooked, fried, stir-fried, u name it! But I dont take them raw. I dont take raw food =P

Chicky snitzel

It was good. Its stuffed with ham and cheese. Best. :D

Look at the cheese!

In a nutshell, its a great place.

edit : Forgot to post the amount I paid. The bill was rm29++. I forgot to mention that Marche is in The Curve, too. =P
