Crocodile’s mouth

For the past few days I was so busy preparing for my presentations. One for business law and another for business strategy. It was tiring.

Done the business law presentation yesterday and I felt so relief that all I had to do was to get over with my business strategy presentation and I can slack for two days.

So! This morning I Polly called me and woke me up so that I can get to class in time. I felt so sleepy that I actually felt like skipping class. Heh. I got up nonetheless and washed up then dressed myself in my nice formal skirt(=P) with a simple white formal top, then wear my black heels and off I went to school!

I was all ethusiased because I was so prepared for this presentation that I thought this was going to be the best one I have ever done! Btw, its a group presentation. There were four of us and I was the third presenter.

Of course it did not turned out like what I expected -lah. Its always like that. When you thought nothing could go wrong, something will happen somehow.

So I was making my way to the washroom before the presentation started and I accidentally kick this wire-protection(? some plastic/steel case) which was on the floor just before I gotout of the room.

click - clock - click - clock

Eh? Why the sounds of my heels clicking are not the same? I looked down and saw a crocodile’s mouth. My left heel gave way. How could this happen?!?! Right before my presentation sumore. So I panicked and forgot all the stuff I wanted to talk about.

Think think think….

I thought of Ms. Ratnesh because her office what on the same floor. So I quickly went to her office and asked for some double sided tape. i told her what happened and she laughed. Heh. Who wouldnt laugh?! Poor me.

Then I was afraid that it will not work so I asked if she had an extra pair of shoes and it so happened that she did! So I wore her shoes to presentation. Luckily her shoes matched my outfit!

As for my presentation….it went okay…but I did miss out a few points.

Talk about being unlucky eh.

p.s. : THANK YOU, Ms. Ratnesh!!

p.p.s. : There is this joke Ms. Ratnesh told us about when she was teaching us in foundation. Its pretty funny ^^
