Mummy is here, open the door!

Heh. Was reading some moms’ blogs and they reminded me of my childhood. There was this incident which I thought is quite funny. It happened when I was about…2-3 years old.

I was having my afternoon nap as usual and it came the time for my mum to fetch my bro home from his tuition class. Not wanting to wake me up, my mum left me sleeping at home and went to fetch my bro(it was only 5 mins drive).

When my mum reached home with my bro, she found that she forgot to bring the keys, which means, I was locked at home with the keys while my mum and bro were locked outside. Hah!

So my mum called home from our neighbour’s house and woke me up. Before I answer the phone, I noticed that my mum wasnt by my side. I started to cry out loud. I cried for mummyy and went to answer the phone.

me : mummy buh jian liaooooo….waaaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaa…..
mum : wo shi mummy arhhhh…
me : waaaaaaaaaaaaaa……mummy buh jian liaaooooo….WAAAAAAAAAAAAAA…..
mum : wo jiu shi mummmy arrrrhhhhh….
me : WAAAAAAAA…….mummmyyy buhh jiaannn liiiaaaaaoooooooo…..
mum : wo jiu shi mummyyyy….xia lai kai mennnn…

Translation :

me : mummyyy is gonnneeee….waaaaaaaa waaaaaaaaaa……..
mum : I am mummy arh….
me : waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa…..mummy is goooonnneeeeeeeee……WAAAAAAAAAAA…..
mum : I amm mummmmyyyy arrrhhhh….
me : WAAAAAAAAAAA….mummy isss goooonnneeeeeeeeeeee…..
mum : I am mummmmyyyyyyyyy….come down and open the doorrr……..

It went on for a few minutes before I finally understood and went downstairs to open the door. My mum said that I smiled and laughed once I saw her, with tears still in my eyes. Heh.
